Following is the October 2018 schedule for Dancer Geeta Chandran and Natya Vriksha.
1 October 2018 (Evening): Dancer Geeta Chandran and the Natya Vriksha Dance Company will be performing for All India Radio’s EXTERNAL BROADCAST DAY celebrations at the Sirifort Auditorium, New Delhi from 7pm onwards.
4 October 2018: Dancer Geeta Chandran will perform Nrithyaakshar, highlighting the rasa of poetry in Bharatanatyam, for the South Asian Literature Festival 2018 at the Kamala Devi Block, India International Centre hosted by Ajeet Cour’s Academy of Fine Arts and Literature.
6 October 2018 (Morning): Dancer Geeta Chandran will be delivering the keynote address at the 5th Annual International Conference of Creative Movement Therapy Association (CMTAI) at Zorba The Buddha, New Delhi.
6 October 2018 (Evening): Dancer Geeta Chandran’s disciple Devikaa Rajaraman, who recently came under tutelage, will present a solo Bharatanatyam performance at the Chinmaya Mission, New Delhi from 6:30pm onwards.
8 October 2018: Dancer Geeta Chandran will be delivering a SPIC MACAY lecture – demonstration at the Shivaji College, University of Delhi, New Delhi.
10 October 2018: Dancer Geeta Chandran will be delivering a SPIC MACAY lecture – demonstration at the Suncity School, Gurgaon.
14 October 2018: Dancer Geeta Chandran will be receiving the Guru Bimbadhar Das Award 2018. She will also be performing with her Natya Vriksha Dance Company as part of Kalashrama’s Guru Kripa Festival 2018 at the Sri Satyasai Internation Centre, New Delhi from 7:30pm onwards.
16 October 2018: Dancer Geeta Chandran’s disciples will perform, NRITYA SEWA, for the Annual Durga Puja Celebrations in Gulmohar Park/Neeti Bagh.
19 October 2018: Vidhyaarambham celebrations at Natya Vriksha.
