The theme of Ksheerasaagara mathanam(churning of the milky ocean) has been central to Kuchipudi right from earlier times...it has been portrayed as a popular Yakshagana as well as a dance ballet choreographed by the legendary Vempati master..
The underlying message of this story being upholding of dharma(a timeless need) , we the Shambhavi Dance Ensemble present 'Dharmaayana'- a Kuchipudi dance drama, this evening as part of 'Festival of messages from Bhagavatam' at Iskon, Bangalore (6:30pm - 7:30pm)
