Happy Guru Poornima to my super awesome mother and Guru, Geeta Chandran! Ma, thank you so much for introducing me to this beautiful world of dance - for your constant reinforcement, creative energy and excitement in everything you have taught us! I have so much more to learn and imbibe from you.

As Guru Parampara is practiced, we find mothers and daughters, father and sons continuing the tradition of classical dance through generations. This establishes a strong bond to sustain the tradition even through testing times.

Gurus whose blessing were sought include Dr Vempati Chinna Satyam, Smt Bala Kondala Rao, Smt Geeta Chandran, Guru Durga Charan Ranbir, Guru Yagna Narayana Sarma,
