Bengaluru International Arts Festival - BIAF 10th Year Celebration of BIAF - 11 Days 10 Venues - 2017

We are happy to invite you to AIM's 10th Year Celebration of Bengaluru international Arts Festival (BIAF) 2017, which proves its sustainable growth as an acclaimed annual global festival in the map of the International festivals of the world. AIM is an NGO dedicated to the propagation of the performing arts, with a focus on the Indian classical form and its emerging contemporary expressions. The brain child of Dr. Suma Sudhindra and Dr. Veena Murthy Vijay, AIM works in the fields of music, dance and drama, creating festivals, concerts, lectures and workshops. AIM has produced "One State Many Worlds", a lifestyle series for television on music and heritage sites in Karnataka. AIM is the organizing body behind the successful BIAF since 2008.

22nd September, 7:30 pm, Chowdiah Memorial Hall- 'GAUHAR', written by Mahesh Dattani, directed by Lillete Dubey and inspired by Vikram Sampath's meticulously researched and much praised book" My name is Gauhar Jaan" is based on the life of the famous Thumri singer of the same name.
